This base station series is a single sector point-to-multipoint (PMP)
base station designed for urban area witthin high-density population. Operating at 2.3 & 3.3 GHz licensed band (TDD method), this base station consists of an indoor and outdoor unit. The 1U-rack mountable indoor unit performs IP networking, backhaul, and radio control functions, while the outdoor unit consists of a spectrum-specific radio and antenna connecting to the indoor unit via coax cable carrying power, timing, and control signals. Fully compliant with the IEEE 802.16-2004 standard, this base station gives providers a versatile platform for maximizing WiMAX revenue opportunities.
