Tender WiMAX is near. Tender document will be announced not later than 19 April 2009.
Director General of Depkominfo Postel Of Indonesia, Mr. Basuki Yusuf Iskandar said document tender acknowledges that is not complete yet. Live a little longer, as he said.

WiMAX is a wireless Internet network such as wifi, but range far more widely because it can up to 50 kilometers and faster access speeds than 3G. He said, can be stable in the access speed of 70 Mbps.
For these, the government plans to tender for the broadband wireless access (BWA) in the zone 15 area, that is, the section of North Sumatra, Central, and South, Jabodetabek, Western Java, Central, and East.
And then, Bali, Nusa Tenggara, Papua, Maluku and North Maluku, South Sulawesi and North Section, West Kalimantan and the East, and the Riau Islands.
Head of Information Center Depkominfo of Indonesia, Mr. Gatot S Dewa Broto said , if the tender documents have been announced, the tender process likely will take place in May or June.
