WiMax For Security/Surveillance

Today’s changing world has increased the demand for video applications in the high-security, public safety, and crime prevention areas. These new requirements have created an unprecedented worldwide demand for cost-effective, flexible, and reliable video surveillance systems.

More companies, service providers and system integrators are using IP networks for surveillance purposes as part of a larger drive to move more services (video, voice over IP, data services) to IP. By using a combination of IP and wireless broadband technologies for their video surveillance solutions, companies, service providers and organizations can realize the benefits of both technologies.
